  Dedicated staff and passionate cooks, a Winery, restaurant and vineyard all in one. If you're looking for great food west of the city, Shadowfax is worth the drive (take the scenic one along the beachfront)

  My visit on Sunday by far exceeded my expectations. The food, the wine, the atmosphere, the live music - it ticked all the boxes! So surprised that a winery of this quality is in Werribee - I honestly felt at times I was in the Yarra Valley. The stand-out highlights for me were the peppermint semifreddo which was one of the best desserts I've eaten this year, the calamari with chorizo which was well balanced with flavour and texture, and the pinot noir was my favourite out of a solid stable of wines. Overall, Shadowfax is a true hidden gem, we had a fantastic experience and will definitely be back!
